What is Acupuncture?

Does it hurt?

Acupuncture treatment can be more tender on some spots than others, but generally it does not hurt. If a needle is hurting, let Gabriela know. There are also other techniques that can be used if you feel worried about the needles.

What should I wear to my Acupuncture appointment?

We ask that you wear loose and comfortable clothing. Depending on the site of treatment we may give you a gown to wear.

What are the benefits of Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is helpful for so many things! Gabriela has treated patients with a wide range of ailments including: pregnancy nausea, sports injuries, tension headaches, anxiety, low back pain with or without radiculopathy, neck pain with or without radiculopathy, sinus symptoms related to allergies, etc.

What are the potential side effects of Acupuncture?

You may feel very relaxed and possibly fatigue after your appointment…..(coming soon)

How many appointments do I need to make to see improvement?

Your course of care depends on the nature and severity of your condition. Gabriela will discuss your recommended course of care and together you’ll decide on our treatment based on your goals.

Is Acupuncture safe?

Can I workout after treatment?

It depends on the nature of your injury and your treatment. Please ask Gabriela what she recommends.
